Dr. Gelernter was born and raised in New York. She attended Yeshiva University high school and after graduating, studied in the Michlala Jerusalem College. She attended Stern College for Women and received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, graduating with honors in 1999.

Dr. Gelernter chose attend to The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey after being  accepted to every medical school she applied to, including Columbia,  NYU, Stony Brook and University of Pennsylvania.  She graduated in 2003 with a degree in General Dentistry and an award from the Academy of General Dentistry. She continued her studies with a General Practice residency at Jacobi Medical Center and North Central Bronx Hospital; intense training programs in oral surgery.

In the meantime Dr. Gelernter got married and had two children.  After her residency her family moved from Washington Heights to Israel where she began her career working with Dr. Gedalia Mordechai Stern in Rechavia, Jerusalem.  She is fully proficient in all aspects of dentistry including Pediatrics, Periodontics, Endodontics and Oral Surgery including Implants and full mouth rehabilitation.

Dr.Gelenter enjoys spending her free time with her husband and children. Being a good wife and homemaker and making others happy are extremely important to her.

Dr. Gelernter is grateful for the continued opportunity for apprenticeship with Dr. Stern, and being part of  the new generation of quality and professionalism in dentistry. Your comfort is her concern.
